Leiko Ikemura and Haroon Mirza to Participate in Helsinki Biennial 2027

Lisson artists Leiko Ikemura and Haroon Mirza have been announced as participants in the fourth edition of Helsinki Biennial, taking place from 6 June to 19 September 2027 across Vallisaari Island, Esplanade Park and HAM Helsinki Art Museum.

Titled Unknowns, the 2027 edition is co-curated by Mami Kataoka and Arja Miller and explores the intersections of physical science, astronomy, geology, spirituality, mythology and abstraction. Bringing together around 45 artists and collectives from Finland and internationally, the Biennial considers different ways of understanding the world and engaging with the unknown.

The fourth edition of Helsinki Biennial will take place across the Finnish capital from 6 June to 19 September 2027.
