Lisson Artists Featured in ‘82 Nights Only*’ at Gertie Hub, Chicago

From 16 September - 13 December 2026, Chicago-based curatorial platform Gertie presents ‘82 Nights Only*’, an experimental exhibition and programming series exploring the points of connection between art and comedy through a changing programme of artworks, performances and screenings.

Organised as a rotating series unfolding over twelve weeks, the exhibition brings together projects by 20 artists, with a selection of works remaining on view throughout the exhibition alongside weekly single-artist presentations. Lisson artists Ryan Gander, Cory Arcangel and Ceal Floyer are featured with ‘I’m Never Coming Back to New York Again’ (2016), ‘Permanent Vacation’ (2008) and ‘Saw’ (2015), respectively.

Alongside the exhibition at Gertie Hub, Christian Jankowski presents ‘Weather Flag’ as an off-site installation at Sterling Bay’s The Grand Flag, Chicago’s tallest flagpole. The work is presented at seven times the scale of its original iteration, which debuted in Porto in 2019.
